Texas Expunctions & Orders of Non-Disclosures

Expunction and Orders of Non-Disclosure

If you were arrested, but you were case was dismissed or you were found non-guilty by a judge or jury, you will still have an arrest record. But, you are eligible to have your record expunged. This means that you will be able to deny that you were ever arrested and the records of your arrest will be destroyed. If you were arrested and placed on deferred adjudication, you are eligible to have your record sealed. Essentially, this means that your records will only be seen by various agencies including government agencies. When someone conducts a background check on you, your arrest record may appear. This can carry consequences such as not being hired for a job, not getting approved for a loan or approved to move into a new home. Expunging or sealing your record help clear your record. Contact our office to see if you are eligible for an expunction or to get your arrest record sealed.
